Pueblitos built or used between 1750 and 1754. The last occupied pueblitos are scattered
down through the middle of the Gobernador. Old Fort Pueblito, said by some Navajo to have
sheltered medicine men, those wounded in raids, and the elderly, was one of the last sites
to fall silent, around 1760. |
